Nordic skiing 2002, further disciplines: cross-country skiing, ski jumping
At the XIX. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , two individual competitions and one team competition in Nordic combined took place. The venues were the Utah Olympic Park Jumps and the Soldier Hollow . A total of 54 athletes were nominated, with the number of participants per nation limited to a maximum of four athletes in each competition.
The Finn Samppa Lajunen was able to win the gold medal in both individual competitions as well as with his team.
