Osen is a municipality in the Central Norwegian administrative district of Trøndelag .

It is located at the northern tip of the Fosen peninsula on the coast of the North Sea and, in addition to the eponymous administrative center Osen, includes the fishing villages of Seter, Angen, Sandviksberget and Sørjer as well as the settlements of Sønmelan, Stein, Åsegg and Kvernland in the hinterland in the valley of the river Osen.
