The train station in Berkåk

Rennebu is a municipality in the Central Norwegian administrative district of Trøndelag .

It is located south of Trondheim in the upper valley of the Orkla salmon river . The administrative center is in Berkåk , where the Dovre Railway also stops .

The politician Ola T. Lånke , who has been a member of the Storting Presidium since 2006 , and the pop singer Astrid S were born in Rennebu .
