At the end of the 2001/02 season he was loaned to EV Zug , where he was put under contract after the loan deal ended and played until 2007. From 2007 Duca played again at his youth club in Ticino, where he signed a three-year contract. There he will act as team captain from 2008 . In October 2009, Duca extended his contract with the HCAP until 2015 after becoming his team's top scorer in the 2008/09 season. Following the 2016/17 season, Duca ended his playing career. In the Under-20 World Youth Championship in 2001 , the striker also was used and recorded two points scorer. The winning of medals in the junior area was still denied him; the best placement was fourth in 1999.
For the seniors, Duca was used for the first time at the 2010 World Cup under the new Swiss national coach Sean Simpson . The previous trainer Ralph Krueger had never considered the attacker. In seven games at the World Cup in Germany Duca remained pointless and reached the quarter-finals with Switzerland.
