IIHF Super Cup

The IIHF Super Cup was an ice hockey game between the winners of the European Cup competitions organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF from 1997 to 2000 .

The Super Cup was first played in 1997 between the winner of the European Hockey League (EHL) and the winner of the European Cup . From 1998 to 2000, the winner of the EHL and the winner of the IIHF Continental Cup played the Super Cup. The winner of the cup received the Magnus Orbis Trophy . After the EHL was discontinued, the Super Cup was also discontinued.
