Semifinals

The defending champion TJ ZKL Brno and the master of the strong Soviet league, CSKA Moscow, were set for the semi-finals. Moscow did not take part, so the second European Cup took place without Soviet participation. The second semi-final was only half played, the Klagenfurt AC did not play for the second leg in Brno, as the Austrian national team was also playing a tournament in North America. The only two games in the semi-finals took place on February 2 and 3, 1967.
