The European Ice Hockey Cup in the 1995 season was the 31st staging of the competition of the same name by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF . The competition began in October 1995; the final was played in December 1995. A total of 31 teams took part. Jokerit Helsinki was able to defend the title.

Mode and participants

The national champions of the game year 1994/95 of the European members of the IIHF were qualified for the cup. The competition was played with a preliminary round in four groups in a simple mode. Then the respective group winners played the final round places with other qualified players in four groups again.

Preliminary round

The preliminary round of the European Cup was played from October 6th to 8th, 1995 in four groups. The first in the group qualified for the semi-finals.
