history

Polánka has probably belonged to the Krumlov Castle since its construction . In the 14th century, the lords of Leipa left the estate, which presumably consisted of a fortress , a court and the village, to feudal people . From Krhov originating Vladikenfamilie led the half-length figure of a man with his hands up in the arms and held apart Polánka still more goods; family members used not only von Polanka but also the predicates von Czernin and von Kupczic . The first surviving representative was Czas von Polanka ( Čas z Polánky ) in 1349 , which is documented until 1376. His son Przibik Czas ( Přibík Čas ) is mentioned between 1387 and 1412 . The subsequent owner of the estate was Przibik's son Erazim, who made a name for himself through numerous feuds. He managed the Polanka estate poorly, so that between 1420 and 1430 the fiefdom was withdrawn from him and given to the Vidun family from Žíňany and Dobronice. Matthäus Widun von Polanka worked in 1437 as an assessor of the Krumlo feudal court . In 1451 Jan von Železný and Polanka was enfeoffed with the estate; However, he did not last long, as early as 1453 he took over the burgrave of Olomouc . Subsequent feudal people were from 1461 Jan von Čéč and Polanka; around 1500 the Sokolnický von Bítov were enfeoffed with Polanka. In 1533, Johann von Leipa on Krumlov sold the Polanka feud including the fortress, farm and village Polanka with full ownership rights to Hynek Sokolnický, who has been a feudal man on Polanka since 1524. Berchtold von Leipa bought the estate back in 1560 from the brothers Jan and Jiří Sokolnický and gave it to the Krumlov rule. The festival went out afterwards; it is believed that she had stood on the Meierhof grounds . After the Battle of White Mountain in 1621, all of the goods belonging to Berthold Bohuslaw ( Bohubud ) von Leipa, who was a leader of the Moravian estates, were confiscated. In 1625 Gundaker von Liechtenstein acquired the Krumlov rule, which then remained in the possession of the House of Liechtenstein for almost 300 years . Until 1785 the village was parish to Krumlov, after that it came to the parish Řeznovice .

In 1835, the village of Polanka in the Znojmo district not far from the trade route from Krummau to Eibenschitz consisted of 32 houses in which 188 people lived. There was a manorial farm in the village. Below Polanka was the stately zoo with a herding house and a sheep farm on the slopes of the Rokytná . On the trade route lay the submissive grain hopper and the Ausspann Pindulka . The parish and school location was Řeznowitz . In 1842 the community built a chapel with the support of Prince Karl von Liechtenstein. Until the middle of the 19th century Polanka remained subordinate to the Fideikommiss-Primogeniturherrschaft Moravian-Krummau .

After the abolition of patrimonial Polanka formed from 1849 a municipality in the judicial district of Mährisch Kromau . From 1869 the village belonged to the Moravian Kromau district . At that time, Polanka had 275 inhabitants and consisted of 40 houses. Since the chapel had become too small, it was demolished and rebuilt in 1899. In 1900 there were 387 people in Polanka ; In 1910 there were 373. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the village was expanded to the south-east as far as Kaiserstraße, the old Pindulka inn at the junction was demolished during this time. In the 1921 census, 447 people lived in the community's 77 houses, including 444 Czechs and one German. Polánka has been used as a Czech community name since 1924 . In 1930 Polánka consisted of 102 houses and had 497 inhabitants. After the German occupation, the community was reclassified into the judicial district Eibenschütz and the district Brünn-Land in 1939 ; until 1945 Polánka / Polanka belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . After the end of the war, the old district structures were restored. In 1950 Polánka had 446 inhabitants. In the course of the territorial reform and the abolition of the Okres Moravský Krumlov, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Znojmo on July 1, 1960 . On August 1, 1976, it was incorporated into Moravský Krumlov. In the 2001 census, there were 416 people in Polánka's 139 houses.
