For the 2002 model year, the plastic panels on the body were no longer corrugated, but made smooth and painted in the vehicle color, the front indicators were given clear glass covers and the glass tailgate was given a spoiler .
In 2003 the Aztek Rally Edition appeared with a lowered body, a larger rear spoiler, a radiator grille in body color and chrome-plated 17-inch wheels . New extras included a DVD player, XM satellite radio and a tire pressure monitoring system .
From 2004 a CD / MP3 player was available at an additional cost.
