The RTL Children's Hit Parade was an entertainment show broadcast by RTLplus from 1989 to 1992 , in which children sang covers of well-known hits in the formation “Hit Kids”. The producer was Steven S. Hayland.

particularities

The show was moderated by the entertainer Frank Zander and the dog doll "Herr Feldmann". Both had already been seen together on the ZDF show Beware of music . Frank Zander, who already had fun with children's shows on Tuesday with the ARD broadcast , rewrote the songs, led the children and sometimes sang with them.

The show competed on the one hand with the similar RTL show format Mini Stars by Matthias Krings and on the other hand with the much more successful Mini Playback Show . In 1991, ARD followed suit with the children's hit parade Alles Banana with Eric Schnecko (now Eric Sneo ).
