Reports

Day 1 (Friday, May 6th)

After a mistake in co-driver Miikka Anttila's notes, Jari-Matti Latvala had a rollover on the first special stage that cost him 25 seconds. On the following test, he had to finally park the car because of a damaged wheel suspension as a consequence of his rollover. Petter Solberg , who initially took the lead with a best time on SS 1, lost almost 40 seconds on SS 2 with a defective turbocharger. Mikko Hirvonen then led for a short time until Sébastien Loeb took the lead on SS 4. On SS 7 Hirvonen had a puncture after hitting an earth wall. He lost around 50 seconds. Meanwhile, Stobart driver Evgeny Novikov , who was on a podium course, retired due to an accident. Sébastien Ogier clocked on SS 8 and dropped to fourth place overall in order to get a better starting position for the second day. By the end of the day Loeb had a lead of over 30 seconds over Solberg and over 50 seconds over Hirvonen and Ogier.

Day 2 (Saturday, May 7th)

Under the SupeRally regulations , Latvala was allowed to start again on the second day. He set the pace, although there was no longer any prospect of a top overall placement. Petter Solberg fell back on SS 10 after a puncture. Loeb continued to hold the lead and after the second day was almost half a minute ahead of Hirvonen.

3rd day (Sunday, May 8th)

Sébastien Loeb kept the attacking Hirvonen behind on the third day and won the rally with a lead of 11.2 seconds. Mikko Hirvonen got the bonus points on the power stage in front of Jari-Matti Latvala and Loeb. Third place went to Petter Solberg in the overall ranking . The direct opponent Sébastien Ogier had a collision with a rock on SS 17. A wheel suspension broke and he lost over a minute. Ott Tänak won the SWRC class. 32 vehicles were rated.
