The 57th Acropolis Rally ( Rally Greece ) was held from June 17th to 19th, 2011. A total of 18 special stages were driven on gravel.

Day 1 (Friday, June 17th)

In the first two special stages, Petter Solberg (Citroën) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) separated by more than 20 seconds. In the sixth special stage, Latvala had problems with the differential and lost time. The sixth special stage was won by Sébastien Loeb (Citroën), who was 51.6 seconds behind in second place.

Day 2 (Saturday, June 18)

Loeb and Sébastien Ogier got faster and faster and won five of seven special stages on Saturday. Ogier took the lead, Loeb only caught up with him on the last special stage of the day (a night stage). At the end of the day, Loeb was leading the overall standings 2.2 seconds ahead of Ogier.

3rd day (Sunday, June 19th)

The tour went back and forth between Loeb and Ogier. After special stage 15, Loeb was in the lead by 0.1 seconds. After 18 special stages, Ogier won 10.5 seconds ahead of Loeb, who climbed to the WRC podium for the 100th time in Greece. Hirvonen came in third, followed by the brothers Petter Solberg and Henning Solberg .
