history
Reupzig was first mentioned in 1160 as Rupice .
Until the formation of the unitary community of Southern Anhalt on January 1, 2010, Reupzig was an independent community in the administrative community of Southern Anhalt with the associated districts of Breesen , Friedrichsdorf and Storkau. The last mayor of Reupzig was Hartmut Burghausen.
Buildings
The parish church of St. Christophorus in Reupzig is a building from the 13th century.

The federal highway 183 runs south of the municipality from Bitterfeld-Wolfen to Köthen (Anhalt).
Events
The leisure and cultural association Reupzig organizes a Whitsun festival every year. The annual ring stitching and the alternative ring stitching, in which participants with vehicles of their own choice e.g. B. Tractors or mopeds compete against each other is a tradition. In 2010, on the occasion of the 850th anniversary, a parade was held with historical GDR vehicles and groups in historical clothing. A small museum has also been set up, which is open every year on the day of Pentecost. Historical everyday technology, old photographs of buildings from Reupzig, Breesen and Storkau as well as certificates and the like are shown there.
