The Rohrpöhle are a group of three eutrophic small lakes in the Mecklenburg Lake District in southeast Mecklenburg and part of the Krüselinsee and Mechowseen nature reserve .
location
The Lakes Group is located in Feldberg Lake District Nature Park in the town of Feldberg Lake Landscape northeast of the town Mechow . There is coniferous and mixed forest around the lakes. Black alder , but also other deciduous trees can be found on the bank .
Emergence
The lakes were formed at the end of the Vistula Ice Age. Since they Sander area are, there are probably two close Sölle because, even in 1932 there were only two lakes. The southern of the two was later divided.
structure
The lake group is partially silted up. The northern lake has the dimensions of 207 m by 175 m with an area of 3.14 ha. The middle one, in which the 170 m western Goschsee (0.75 ha) drains, has an area of 4.96 ha 378 m by 190 m in size. The southern of the three lakes measures 268 m by 93 m with an area of 2.2 ha. It drains through the Weutschsee , whose level is 1.6 m lower than the Mechowbach .
burden
From 1962 to 1972 at least the southern lake was used for duck fattening. From 1965 to 1989, the northern and central areas were used for intensive carp farming. Both measures brought a considerable input of nutrients.

The lakes are used for fishing.
