SM U 119 was a diesel-electric mines - Submarine of Class P II of the German Imperial Navy , which in the First World War was used. In the interwar period , the boat was called René Audry in the service of the French Navy . In 1938 it was scrapped.

U 119 was commissioned on May 27, 1916 expired on April 4, 1918 at the AG Vulcan in Hamburg from the stack and was put into service on 20 June 1918th The boat was assigned to the I. U- Flotilla in Helgoland and Brunsbüttel . The first and only German commander was Kapitänleutnant Edmund Pauli.
U 119 carried out an enterprise during the First World War . No ship was sunk or damaged in the process.
Whereabouts
On November 24, 1918, U 119 was delivered to France as spoils of war . There the boat was from January 6, 1922 to September 6, 1937 as René Audry in the service of the French Navy. It was deleted from the list of ships on October 7, 1937. On September 2, 1938, it was sold to Cherbourg and scrapped.
