Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau is a French municipality with 123 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Vire and the Canton of Vire .
geography
Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau is about 60 kilometers southwest of Caen and 24 kilometers south of Saint-Lô . The Vire flows on the north-eastern border of Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau, which is also a partial boundary to the neighboring municipality of Pont-Farcy . In the south-west, Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau is bordered by the Manche department , in the south-east by the commune of Landelles-et-Coupigny and in the east by Pont-Bellanger .
The A84 autoroute runs just under three kilometers northwest of Sainte-Marie-Outre-l'Eau .
