history

In 1598 a Nieseshof / Nieseßhof is drawn in on a map, the position of which corresponds to the location of today's sheep farm; the tithing was owned by the Waldsassen monastery . The wasteland belonged to the Bavarian-ducal, from 1505 Palatinate-Neuburg and later Bavarian-electoral rule of Helfenberg , each given to nobles . The subject Ueberl sat on the property around 1800, towards the end of the Old Kingdom .

In the Kingdom of Bavaria (1806), the Lengenfeld tax district was formed in the Parsberg district court around 1810 , to which, in addition to the village of Lengenfeld, the village of Harenzhofen and the wastes of Matzenhof , Ostermühle , Schafhof, Schwaighof and Weihermühle belonged. With the community edict of May 15, 1818 it became the rural community of Lengenfeld. However, the sheep farm was placed on January 1, 1946, to the municipality of Velburg. Lived in the Schafhof

Recatholization took place in 1621. All subjects had to change their faith, including the residents of the sheep farm. The cross at the Schafhof is named in 1938.
