Neudiesenhof is a district of the town of Velburg in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The district in the Upper Palatinate Jura of the Franconian Alb lies at the northern exit of a depression at 500 m above HNH between the elevations of Bockenberg, Sommertsberg, Ratzenberg, Kurzberg, Kolmerberg and Hohe Richt.

The desert is about 3 km north of Velburg in the immediate vicinity of the Hohenfels military training area . It can be reached via a local connecting road that branches off from the NM 36 district road and leads via this farm to the Neudiesenhof.

history

Neudiesenhof was founded in the 19th century before 1840. In 1848 the residential property was described as follows at the auction by the Royal District Court of Parsberg : “House with stable and barn under one roof, built-on oven and courtyard ...” The children went to school in the parish of Pielenhofen.

Located in the municipality of Griffenwang in the district of Parsberg , when the military training area was cleared, the district outside the military training area was incorporated into the municipality of Reichertswinn by resolution of the Upper Palatinate government on March 25, 1952; the municipality of Griffenwang was dissolved in 1958 and in 1970 its area of ​​1344 hectares was added to the city of Velburg. The municipality of Reichertswinn was also incorporated into the town of Velburg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria on April 1, 1971, which became part of the enlarged district of Neumarkt id Opf. When the Parsberg district was dissolved in 1972.

With the expansion of the military training area in 1952, the parish of Pielenhofen in the Allersburg dean's office of the diocese of Regensburg was dissolved. Neudiesenhof, which until then was in the district of this parish, was changed to the parish of Velburg in the diocese of Eichstätt .
