history

Distlhof is first mentioned as Geiselrewt in 1374, when Ulrich von Reicheneck from the Helfenberg lordship ceded the property there, on which the subject Koler sat, to Count Palatine Ruprecht . The Distlhof is listed in the interest books of the Helfenberg rule in 1588 and 1622; A subject of the Kastl monastery also sat on a smaller estate . At the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, Distlhof consisted of two properties. The larger, a half courtyard belonging to the Helfenberg rulership, belonged to the subject Federhofer, the smaller, a quarter courtyard, belonged to the Kastl monastery.

In the new Kingdom of Bavaria (1806), tax districts were initially formed from several locations. The Reichertswinn tax district in the Parsberg district court included the two villages Reichertswinn and Kirchenwinn as well as the wasteland of Distlhof. With the second municipal edict of 1818, this tax district became the rural municipality of Reichertswinn, unchanged . In 1830 the parish of St. Wolfgang was added to this with the localities of St. Wolfgang, St. Colomann , Richterhof , habenhof and Sommertshof . There was another change in 1952, when the community of Griffenwang, which had been dissolved due to the expansion of the military training area, was renegotiated from Neudiesenhof to Reichertswinn. With this stock, the municipality was incorporated into the town of Velburg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria on May 1, 1971, which was incorporated into the enlarged district of Neumarkt id Opf. When the Parsberg district was dissolved in 1972. Since then, Distlhof has been an officially recognized district of Velburg.
