Hennenhof is a district of the town of Velburg in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The place is about 1.5 km north of the former town hall Günching in the Upper Palatinate Jura of the Frankish Alb at about 522  m above sea level. NHN in the open corridor, directly in front of the valley slope towards the Schwarzen Laber . To the southeast the Gimpelholz rises up to 559  m above sea level. NHN .

Hennenhof is only 100 m from the A3 motorway , the next driveway is AS 92 b (Neumarkt Ost). Local roads lead to Hennenhof from Günching, Krondorf and Ollertshof .

history

The place is listed as "Hewnesperg" for the first time around 1400/10 in an interest book of the Helfenberg rule . In the interest book created around 1500, the settlement appears as "Honeßperg" with the subject Schaller. In 1622 the name of the farm changed to "Hünersperg" and in 1772 to "Hienersberg". At the end of the Old Kingdom , around 1800, there is still a Helfenberg property - the size of a half courtyard - the Untertan Stoll.

In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the Hennenhof became part of the newly founded tax district Günching in the Parsberg district court . With the second Gemeindeedikt of 1818 it was the Rural community Günching; the children went to school in Dietkirchen, where the teacher was also a sacristan. The community and thus also the Hennenhof were incorporated into Velburg on May 1, 1978.

Older mentions are "Hegenenhof", ie "umhegter Hof", and "Hengersberg", ie "Hof am Abhang".

Church conditions

Hennenhof has belonged to the Catholic parish Dietkirchen in the diocese of Eichstätt since ancient times . Under Pfalz-Neuburg the parish was subjected to the Reformation in 1540 ; the re-Catholicization took place in November 1626. All subjects, including the Hintersasse from the Hennenhof, had to change their faith.

House No. 1, a residential stable house with plaster bands, dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. Century; it was considered a monument around 1985. In 2020 it is not included in the list of monuments .
