The Wachbach Castle , also Adelsheimer Castle is a castle from the 16th century in Wachbach , a district of Bad Mergentheim in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg . It was built on the site of the destroyed Wachbach Castle from the 12th / 13th centuries. Century erected.

history

In the period from 1588 to 1592, the Lords of Adelsheim had Michel Niklas build a palace in the Renaissance style in Wachbach . Adelsheim's coat of arms is located above the portal . The four-wing complex with round corner towers was for sale in the 2010s.

Since 2018 the property has belonged to the German Property Group, which says it wants to renovate it in order to offer assisted living there. In April 2020, the owner was still in the design phase for a senior residence.
