The Ficksche Castle , also called Angeltürn Castle or Castle Chapel Angeltürn and Dienheimisches Schlösschen , is a former mansion in Angeltürn near Boxberg in Baden-Württemberg, built in 1617 and renovated in 1768 . It served the Barons von Fick as a family seat. After the von Fick family died out in 1879, the castle passed to the Catholic parish fund. Today the castle serves as the Roman Catholic Church of St. Joseph with a rectory.

history

The castle was built in 1617 and renovated in 1768. It is a simple mansion with a stone basement and half-timbered superstructure . From 1770 there was also a service in the chapel of St. Joseph in the basement of the castle .

After the Barons von Fick died out in 1879, the castle passed to the Catholic parish fund. The last landlord of Angeltürn, Franz von Fick, who was also the last of his tribe, donated all of his property and left the Fick Castle to the community in 1879 for use as a Catholic church with a rectory.
