Siebeneck Castle

Siebeneck Castle is an abandoned aristocratic seat in the district of the core town of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

location

The castle was in the old town area near the collegiate church . Until the end of the 1850s, the peculiar property stood behind Witt's house (formerly Ludwig-Moritzsche Hofhaltung), then in the direction of Mühlenstrasse. It was connected to Witt's property through a pointed arch gate as a passage to the churchyard at that time.

description

The building consisted of a rectangular stone substructure and a truss structure of several storeys as a heptagon. Whether the property was a tower castle or a permanent house in the true sense can no longer be proven.
