Sachsenflur Castle
The Sachsenflur Castle , also called Schlösschen Sachsenflur and Burg Sachsenflur , is a former low castle from the 13th century, which was built in the 15th and 16th centuries. It was converted into a small castle in the 19th century, which is located in Sachsenflur near Lauda-Königshofen in Baden-Württemberg .

Sachsenflur Castle was first mentioned as a deep castle in 1200. From 15./16. In the 19th century it was called the castle of the local rulers.

Sachsenflur Castle has an angle hook construction with a stair tower . It is the core building of a Franconian country nobility seat. The old half-timbering dates back to the 16th century . The architectural style is characterized in parts by the late Gothic and Proto-Renaissance . A later baroque reconstruction of the castle can be seen.
