The Scottish League Challenge Cup was played for the 4th time in 1993/94 . The Scottish football competition, officially known as B & Q Challenge Cup was held, began on 6 October 1993 and ended with the final on 12 December 1993 Fir Park by Motherwell . The defending champion was Hamilton Academical , who prevailed against Greenock Morton in the final a year earlier . The clubs of the Scottish Football League took part in the competition. In this year's final, FC Falkirk won the Challenge Cup in the final against FC St. Mirren .
