The Scottish League Challenge Cup was played for the 5th time in 1994/95 . The Scottish football competition, officially known as B & Q Challenge Cup was held, began on 16 September 1994 and ended with the final on November 6, 1994 at the McDiarmid Park of Perth . The defending champions, FC Falkirk , could not repeat their success from last year's final against FC St. Mirren due to the promotion to the Premier Division . The clubs of the Scottish Football League took part in the competition. In this year's final, Airdrieonians FC won the Challenge Cup against FC Dundee .
