The Scottish League Challenge Cup was played for the 20th time in 2010/11 . The soccer cup competition, which was officially held as the MG Alba Challenge Cup , began on July 24, 2010 and ended on April 10, 2011. The defending champions were Dundee FC , who won against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the previous year's final . The clubs of the Scottish Football League took part in the competition. In this year's final, Ross County was able to win the title for the second time since 2007 . In the final, the club from the Scottish Highlands defeated Queen of the South 2-0.
