The third season of the American television series Scrubs - The Beginners celebrated its premiere on 2 October 2003 on the transmitter NBC . The German-language premiere sent the German Free TV transmitter ProSieben and the Austrian free TV station ORF one of 7 September 2005 to 29 April of 2006.

Turk and Carla help him, but they can't find anything either. Dr. Cox still. Dr. Kelso has had a fist ever since Dr. Cox had a problem with his nose because it always whistled when breathing. The employees take advantage of this mercilessly because they now know when the despot will appear. Elliot's self-confidence is down again, everyone ignores her. The caretaker gives her advice on what she needs to change. So suddenly a visually changed and self-confident Elliot comes back.

Carla finds an unnamed urine sample on the counter. She drives everyone crazy because she desperately wants to know who she belongs to. When the caretaker makes a stupid remark about it, Carla compresses him. This works, he searches the waste and finds the right name label. Turk and Carla set the date for their wedding, JD is afraid that he will lose his best friend and wants to spend as much time as possible with him. But Turk also brings Todd to a men’s evening, which JD doesn't like at all. Elliot met her ex-boyfriend Sean again. He actually doesn't want a relationship with her anymore because she is unreliable. Elliot says she can put Sean in front of her job, but Dr. Cox makes it clear to her that this is not possible as a doctor. Elliot explains the situation to Sean, and he's ready for a relationship.

Elliot, Turk and JD have received new interns for training. Everyone approaches the task with different strategies. Elliot still doubts his own abilities, Turk is too strict with them and JD makes a good buddy, which doesn't go down well. Elliot recommends that he take some advice from Sean. But at first he doesn't want to because he's jealous of Sean. Baby Jack is coughing a little, Dr. Cox panics about it and runs to the best pediatrician in the clinic. But Dr. Norris is unwilling to treat Jack right away. A bad argument breaks out between the two doctors until Dr. Cox notices that Dr. Norris can be as obnoxious as he is. When Dr. Cox then gives in, is Dr. Norris is happy to provide a diagnosis, Jack only has a mild cold.

Elliot and Sean are very happy together, JD is still jealous of them both. But when he learns that Sean has to go away for six months for further training, he sees his chance to win Elliot back. But the grown-up Elliot has decided to have a long-distance relationship with Sean because she feels ready for it. The senior surgeon has to be filled, Dr. Kelso favors his personal assistant Dr. Steadman what Dr. Cox incites him to run for the post himself. To do this, he needs the support of Jordan, but she wants him to ask for her help, which is not easy for him. Carla can help out as an operating room nurse at Turk, but he doesn't think that's a good thing because his macho image suffers from his colleagues. It wasn't until Dr. Whoever praises him for an operation with Carla at his side, he realizes that he shouldn't have driven it away because it brings him luck.

So also Carla and Elliot, who help out in a veterinary practice. Until Dr. Kelso comes by with his dog. He wants to suspend both of them immediately, but Ted helps the women to keep their jobs.

Carla's brother Marco comes to visit. He has had a problem with Turk since her mother's funeral. He's always making fun of him in Spanish. Until Turk finds out that Marco understands and can speak his language very well. JD still mourns Elliot and tries everything to be close to her. Until he meets Danni, who has just been abandoned by her boyfriend. But somehow he can't concentrate on her because he always thinks of Elliot. When he finally wants to invite her for a coffee, he finds out that she is Jordan's sister. Dr. Kelso gives the instruction that all patients have to be looked after equally, even those who actually have no chance. Dr. Cox, of course, sees this very differently and is amazed that JD is following Dr. Kelso holds.

Dr. Kelso can't hear anything anymore because the new cheap stethoscopes hurt both of his eardrums . Carla gets into an argument with Elliot because she advised her to seek treatment, which then led to problems. Turk explains to her that while she's the boss outside, she should respect the doctors' opinions in the hospital. Dr. Cox and JD long not notice that her patient suicide wanted to commit because they take too little time for them.

Elliot's self-confidence is once again in the basement, because JD is always quicker in emergencies than she is. It gnaws at her especially when it is still her own patients. Dr. Cox wants to show how well he can play basketball, but then he injures his back. But he doesn't want to admit that he is no longer as young as he feels himself. The caretaker has assumed different identities and plays them in front of the employees, but JD is not impressed until he sees him in a movie on TV.

JD gives Dr. Cox tips him on how to improve communication with Jordan because he can't find the right tone, Jordan throws him out of the apartment and he goes to JD's house to annoy him. JD and Dr. Cox refuses the necessary surgery because of his prostate cancer . In doing so, they discover that other people cannot speak openly with one another either, because the patient sends his wife out of the room when things get delicate.

The terminally ill patient of Elliot and Carla confesses that she is still a virgin and wants nothing more than to have sex before she dies. So the two start looking for a callboy , but are arrested. Before they even get around to doing anything, Ted has taken care of it. Turk and Dr. Cox clash because the patient scheduled for the liver transplant was not abstinent and Turk now refuses the operation. Danni wants to move out of her sister's house because she has sex with Dr. Cox saw. JD offers her to stay with him, but as soon as he has said it, he begins to doubt it.

JD is thinking about breaking up with Danni. When she suggests they move in together, he has to act. But he's never broken up with a girlfriend. When Danni overhears a conversation between JD and Elliot, she breaks up with him because she realizes that he still has feelings for Elliot. Dr. Kelso complains about Elliot's appearance because she's too well-groomed for a doctor. This gnaws at her self-confidence again, but the caretaker supports her because he thinks she is so pretty. Dr. Cox has a crisis of meaning, because of his family he is no longer the gruff despot that all young doctors are afraid of. This scares him.

The Sacred Heart receives support from Dr. Casey ( Michael J. Fox ), a noted surgeon and internist. Together with Dr. Cox spent his internship, but has long had an obsessive-compulsive disorder . Everyone is impressed by how easy everything is for him, including Turk, who has just been told by his boss, Dr. Who was praised, but now has to find that it is Dr. Casey can do even better. Dr. Kelso is bothered by the high fees for waste disposal , the caretaker offers him to make it cheaper, but hides the waste on the premises. Ted has suicidal thoughts again because Dr. Kelso takes to finish.

The caretaker has installed a toilet on the roof to help have revelations . Dr. Casey and JD are confused, but soon people are queuing for help with a problem. Turk asks JD to be his best man, but when he accidentally hears a call from Turks brother on the answering machine, he is no longer sure whether he is Turks first choice. But Turk explains to him: he only asked his brother because he will cancel anyway. Dr. Kelso closed an entire wing of the hospital to save money. But when his gardener fell ill, Dr. Cox and Carla no bed for him. So they bring him to Dr. Kelso's office below. So the boss can see how senseless his decision was. Elliot suddenly has problems intubating , but nobody wants to help her, including Dr. Casey doesn't. But he puts a trail of toilet paper on the roof of the revelation toilet.

Jordan's siblings Danni and Ben also came for Jack's first birthday. Dr. Cox is mad at Ben for not seeing a doctor in the past two years, despite his leukemia . He instructs JD to get the necessary examinations straight away, but JD doesn't really have time because he is worried about his patient with heart problems. Turk wants Carla to take his name at the wedding, but she only wants to do so if he removes his birthmark on his upper lip. When JD's heart patient suddenly dies, Dr. Cox blames him for it and sends him home. Two days later, Dr. Cox is still in the hospital because of that and Ben tries to get him to go to Jack's party now. He also wants him to apologize to JD for holding him responsible for the patient's death. Outside, Ben suddenly disappears and JD asks Dr. Cox, does he know where he is? Only then does he realize that he is not at Jack's party, but in the cemetery at Ben's funeral.

The new chief surgeon Dr. Miller has some problems with the macho behavior of certain surgeons and brings a breath of fresh air to the department. The nurses want sexist innuendos to stop in the hospital. Dr. Kelso therefore makes an anonymous survey who the biggest harassers are, and gives Carla the task of training the fallible. But suddenly he finds himself together with Todd and Dr. Cox again among the culprits.

What if, that's what everything in the hospital is about today. What if Dr. Cox is late once and JD is on time when Turk doesn't have his lucky charm and Carla forgets to bring it from home when Elliot is looking for her favorite plush toy for a little patient but can't find it because the caretaker doesn't have time to search help. Then a patient dies because the correct diagnosis was not found in time. If everything goes according to plan, JD is late, as always, Carla thinks about bringing Turk his lucky charm and Elliot finds the stuffed animal thanks to the caretaker's help, JD and Dr. Cox happens to do a CT scan on a patient and spot his problem in good time? Despite the butterfly effect, the patient dies during the operation because - as Dr. Cox then correctly remarks - its time has come.

The caretaker tries to deceive JD and Turk by fooling them into thinking he has a twin brother. Carla is more and more annoyed that Turk looks after all women until an old admirer of hers shows up and invites her to dinner. She asks JD Turk not to tell about it. Elliot's patient pretends not to be in pain, but she has the impression that he is in pain and wants to give him medication. But Dr. Cox prevents them because he knows that the patient is a drug addict and only wants to take pain medication. Elliot doesn't want to believe him until her patient blurts out. When she was Dr. Cox admits her mistake, he admits that was the last time he fell for the same patient.

Dr. Kelso invites Dr. Miller on one occasion invited Dr. But Cox tries to convince her not to go, because Kelso only does this so that he can get more attention. But Dr. Miller quickly realizes that Dr. Cox only tells this because he would like to go out with her himself. Turk was supposed to post the invitations for the wedding, but suddenly has scruples. He also makes a mistake during the operation on young Brian, which means that he can no longer move his hand properly. He wanted to become a piano player. Turk doesn't dare tell him the truth until Carla pushes him in the right direction. JD represents Elliot as a clown on the children's ward because she doesn't have time herself. She sleeps with him out of gratitude. Shortly thereafter, Sean is at the door.

But Danni is no longer who she was when they met. When Sean asks JD if there was anything between him and Elliot while he was away, he is unsure whether to tell him or whether to keep the secret. Dr. Cox keeps an eye on Dr. Thrown Miller, but Jordan realizes something is wrong with him and is teasing him about it. The caretaker can switch to the security service, but immediately gets a problem with Dr. Kelso disregarding his instructions. Carla and Turk try to help everyone so that they make the right decisions in their situations.

Elliot and Sean want to move in together, they just don't know yet whether they should look for a new apartment or whether Sean should move in with Elliot. Carla is stressed with planning the wedding. Since they invited too many guests, she invites Turks boss out, Dr. Miller thanks that Turk is now only allowed to help in the operating room. Dr. Kelso has bought a full-body tomograph and is promoting it. This annoys Dr. Cox, because he thinks that's an exaggeration. Cox bets Kelso that nobody wants to be examined just like that, but then the well-known hypochondriac Harvey Corman ( Richard Kind ) enters the clinic and wants to be examined. But Dr. Cox gets him not to do the investigation. JD and Danni have drifted apart even though they are still having sex. He confesses his feelings to Elliot, whereupon she breaks up with Sean when he tries to move in with her. When Elliot later comes to JD's apartment, he realizes that it wasn't love that drove him to make his statement, but rather jealousy of Sean.

JD wants advice from Danni and her new boyfriend Larry on what to do about Elliot. He then decides to continue the relationship even though he doesn't love her. Because Jordan is no longer with Dr. Cox wants to argue, he is frustrated and has to work off. He messes with the caretaker, but draws the short straw. JD later finds him in the pathology refrigerator . Turk should have picked up Carla's brother Marco from the airport, but he forgot. Of course, this does nothing to improve the relationship between the two. When Turk doesn't know what to write in the vow for Carla, Marco offers to help. Turk doesn't notice that Marco has written down a scene from Harry and Sally for him. When he then asks JD for help, rather embarrassed, he finds the right words and reads them to everyone. In return, JD tells Elliot that he doesn't love her.

On the day of the wedding, Turk must have Dr. Miller assist with an operation, but is convinced that he will finish on time. But then complications arise and the operation takes longer. When he can finally go, he drives to the wrong church. As a result, the wedding fell through and Carla was quite angry. JD uses Turk's delay to bring Sean to the wedding so he can make up for his mistake with Elliot. Jordan and Dr. Cox are also late and thank Carla for the great party, which makes it even angrier. But Dr. Cox explains to Carla that you don't need a marriage certificate to be happy. When Turk wants to check on his recently operated patient before leaving for his honeymoon , it turns out that he is a pastor . So Carla and Turk can still get married.
