Sheikhpura is a district in the Indian state of Bihar . It has the lowest population of all districts in Bihar.

The population is 636,342 (2011). The population growth rate in the period from 2001 to 2011 was 25.36% and was therefore very high. Sheikhpura has a gender ratio of 880 women per 1000 men and thus a male surplus that is usual for India.
