City and Local History Museum is a local history museum in the city of Marl .

The museum goes back to the director of the Heimatverein Marl Heinrich Keller. It is housed in the former water mill Alt-Marl from the 17th century, the associated threshing floor and the so-called Scherer's villa and represents the history of the city of Marl from natural, economic, social and folklore aspects.
