Tanguy-Austin Nianzou Kouassi (born June 7, 2002 in Paris ) is a French - Ivorian football player . The central defender has been under contract with FC Bayern Munich since July 2020 and is a French junior international.

Nianzou was born to Ivorian parents in the French capital Paris . In addition to French, he also has Ivorian citizenship .
Career
society
Nianzou trained at the Paris Saint-Germain Academy, which he entered in 2016. He made his professional debut on December 7, 2019 in a 3-1 win against HSC Montpellier in Ligue 1 under coach Thomas Tuchel . He made his UEFA Champions League debut for the club on December 11, 2019 in a 5-0 home win over Galatasaray Istanbul . Nianzou is a French youth international. He was part of the French squad that advanced to the semi-finals of the 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship . He was also an important part of the French team that finished third in the 2019 U17 World Cup . He played in all seven games of France in the tournament from the start and scored one goal for his team in a game against Spain .
Up to a competitive game in the French senior team , Nianzou is also eligible to play for the Ivorian football association .
