Tilly is a French municipality with 137 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Le Blanc and the canton of Saint-Gaultier (until 2015: canton of Bélâbre ). The inhabitants are called Tillotins .

Tilly is about 50 kilometers southwest of Châteauroux . Tilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lignac in the north, Chaillac in the east and northeast, Bonneuil in the east and southeast, Saint-Martin-le-Mault in the south and southeast, Lussac-les-Églises in the south and southwest and Coulonges in the west.
