Tonina Torrielli

Tonina Torrielli (born March 22, 1934 in Serravalle Scrivia ) is an Italian singer who was active from 1955 to 1965.

With the ballad Amami se vuoi she reached second place at the Sanremo Festival in 1956 , and then she was allowed to take part in the first Eurovision Grand Prix for Italy in 1956 together with the winner Franca Raimondi . Their placement was not yet determined at that time.

Until 1963 she took part successfully in the Sanremo Festival several times, in 1965 she withdrew from the music business in order to have more time for her family. In later times she had a few appearances.
