Nunzio Gallo
Nunzio Gallo (born March 25, 1928 in Naples , † February 22, 2008 in Telese Terme, province of Benevento ) was an Italian singer and actor.
He won the Sanremo Festival in 1957 together with Claudio Villa with the song Corde della mia chitarra and at the same time qualified for the Eurovision Song Contest 1957 . At the ESC in Frankfurt am Main he reached sixth place with seven points out of ten participants. With a total of 5 minutes and 9 seconds, his contribution was the longest title ever presented in the history of the contest.
