Nicola Di Bari

Nicola Di Bari (actually: Michele Scommegna ; born September 29, 1940 in Zapponeta ) is an Italian singer and actor .

He was most successful in the 1960s and 1970s. Numerous singles of him appeared here with the music labels Jolly and RCA Italia. He also played in a few feature films, his best known was probably The Sicilian with Bud Spencer . He won the Sanremo Festival twice : in 1971 with Nada and Il cuore è uno zingaro and in 1972 with I giorni dell'arcobaleno . With this title he also took part in the Eurovision Song Contest in Edinburgh , where he finished sixth.
