Val de Drôme is a commune in the French department of Calvados in Normandy . It belongs to the canton of Aunay-sur-Odon in the Arrondissement of Vire .
It was created as Commune nouvelle by a decree of September 26, 2016 with effect from January 1, 2017, by merging the previous municipalities of Dampierre , La Lande-sur-Drôme , Saint-Jean-des-Essartiers and Sept-Vents . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées . Sept-Vents is the main town (Chef-lieu).
