Villapinzón is located in the northeast of Cundinamarca in the province of Almeidas at an altitude of 2715 meters. The source of the Río Bogotá is located in the municipality . Adjacent to the community in the north and west Ventaquemada , Turmeque , Úmbita and La Capilla in Boyacá Department , in the south Tibirita and Chocontá and west Lenguazaque .
