Waidacher forest

The community-free area Waidacher Forst is located in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth .

The 6.42 km² large state forest lies between Pottenstein , Betzenstein , Obertrubach and Gößweinstein . The area is largely forested . It consists of two similar large area parts, which wide by about 54 up to 1000 meter strip of the district Leienfels the municipality Pottenstein are separated. Historically, the eastern part of the area is District VI Schoen and the western part is District VII Schwarz-Holz .
