history
The Kirmsee part of the municipality was first mentioned in 1181 as belonging to the Speinshart Monastery . The Landgraves of Leuchtenberg were feudal lords in Lienlas until 1646 . Kirchenpingarten belonged to the Amberg Rent Office and the Waldeck Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , the municipal edict of 1818 created the parishes Kirchenpingarten, Lienlas, Reislas and Tressau. During the regional reform in Bavaria, these were incorporated into the Kirchenpingarten community in two steps: Reislas and Tressau on April 1, 1971, Lienlas on January 1, 1972.
