The nature and landscape protection area Waldhägenich lies in the area of ​​the city of Bühl and in the area of ​​the municipalities of Bühlertal and Ottersweier in the Rastatt district in Baden-Württemberg .

The area extends not far west of Oberweier , a district of Bühl. The Laufbach flows to the west and the A5 runs to the east, and the B 3 runs to the east .

For Bühl, Bühlertal and Ottersweier, a 266.6 hectare area, which consists of three sub-areas, has been designated as a nature reserve under the identification number 2.123 since December 6, 1989 .
