The Wildhorse Township is one of 28 townships in St. Louis County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Missouri and part of the metropolitan region of Greater St. Louis . In 2010 the Wildhorse Township had 36,725 inhabitants.

The Wildhorse Township is located at 38 ° 35 '  N , 90 ° 37'  W in the southwestern suburb of St. Louis on the left bank of the Meramec River . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois , is about 35 km to the east.

The Lemay Township is located in the southwest of St. Louis County and borders in the northeast on the Lafayette Township , in the east on the Queeny Township , in the south on the Meramec Township and in the west and northwest on the Chesterfield Township .
