The Airport Township is one of 28 townships in St. Louis County in the eastern part of the US -amerikanischen state of Missouri and part of the metropolitan region of Greater St. Louis . In 2010 the Airport Township had 35,821 inhabitants.

The Airport Township is located in the northwestern suburb of St. Louis, around 10 km southeast of the Missouri River . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois , is about 15 km to the east.
The Airport Township is located at 38 ° 44'00 "north latitude and 90 ° 21'16" west longitude and extends over 36.5 km².
The Airport Township is located in the north-west of St. Louis County and borders the Florissant Township in the northeast, the Ferguson and Norwood Township in the east, the Normandy Township in the southeast, the Midland Township in the south, and Maryland in the southwest Heights Township and to the west and northwest to the Northwest Township .
