The 1st World Challenge Cup Juniors 2001 was a tournament in the three cushion carom discipline and took place from October 6th to 9th in Gandia in the Spanish province of Valencia . It was considered a preparatory tournament for an upcoming world championship for juniors.

In the preliminary round, the game is played in three groups of five and one group of four players in round robin mode up to 40 points. The first two of the group made it to the final round, where the knockout system also played up to 40 points. In the group of four, each player was given two extra points. The shot clock stood at 50 seconds.
