Arquà Petrarca is a town and commune in northeastern Italy, in the province of Padua.
It is the place where the poet Petrarch died, whence its name. In 1374, he died and was entombed in this village.
In 2004, celebrations were held there and in nearby Padua for the 700th anniversary of the poet's birth.
