Piacenza d'Adige is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1260 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Padua in Veneto . The municipality is located about 40 kilometers southwest of Padua and about 20 kilometers west-northwest of Rovigo on the Adige and borders directly on the province of Rovigo .

traffic

At present (2012) the A31 autostrada from Vicenza towards Rovigo is being expanded and will then also run through the municipality. There will also be a motorway connection.
