Čistá , until 1945 Litrbachy (German Lauterbach ) is a municipality in Okres Svitavy , Pardubický kraj in the Czech Republic .
geography
The village is located south of Litomyšl in a deep valley on both banks of the Loučná River . The altitude ranges from 380 to 560 m. The area of 2,520 hectares is the tenth largest municipality in the district. Almost 1000 hectares of the cadastre consists of spruce forest.
history
It was first mentioned in 1347 as "villa Lauterbach". After the dissolution of the Litomyšl diocese in 1421, the village was part of the Litomysl rule until 1848.
Since 1850 the village was part of the Litomyšl political district, and from 1960 of the Okres Svitavy. The majority of the population were Germans until 1945. After their expulsion and the arrival of the Czech settlers in 1947, the place name was changed to Čistá . In 1919 28 coins were found in the village, in 1938 a further 1238 coins from the second half of the 16th century (the youngest was a quarter cruiser Ferdinand II from 1628) and in 1958 another 826 coins were found during the construction of buildings after 1545 were hidden.
