history

The first written mention of Brlenka (Bradlné) took place around 1200 in connection with the trade route leading to Svitavy . In 1409 the settlement of the Letovice manor was named Vilémov for the first time. Bradlné belonged to the Louka estate from 1416 and was later also referred to as Brallin . Rosrain was founded in the second half of the 17th century. At the end of the 18th century Bradlné was one of the most populous villages in the area. The church was built with the help of the religion fund. On August 4, 1791, the fund donated a pub and school in Bradlné, which also looked after the surrounding villages of Studlow , Wilimow, Strzik , Roßrein and Wlkow . In 1834 Bralný or Bradlený consisted of 57 houses, 40 of which were subordinate to the Křetín and 17 to the Letovice rule. 88 people lived in the Letovi share. At that time Wilimow consisted of five houses and had 30 residents. In Roßrein there were 28 houses in which 130 people lived. Between 1846 and 1849 the railway from Brno to Böhmisch Trübau was built by the Imperial and Royal Northern State Railways .

After the abolition of patrimonial Bradleny and Roßrein / Rozhraní (with the district Vilemov ) formed two independent communities in the district authority of Boskovice from 1850 . In 1869 the three villages had a total of 632 inhabitants. In 1878 the double-track expansion of the railway line was completed. Between 1880 and 1897 Rozhraní and Vilémov were districts of Stvolová , after which the Rozhraní community was established again. A new school was inaugurated in Bradlné in 1899. In 1900 there were 791 people living in the three towns, after which the population began to decline. After the First World War, Eduard Blažek established the Villa Eda in Vilémov as a refuge for the poor and homeless. Blažek was one of the Green cadres who had fled into the woods before being drafted into the Austro-Hungarian Army and thus withdrew from military service. After Blažek's death, Villa Eda was demolished and houses were built in its place in 1930. In 1930 the villages had 761 inhabitants. According to the Munich Agreement , Rozhraní became a border town to the German Empire in 1938, while the one kilometer north of the neighboring town of Ölhütten (Chrastová Lhota) belonged to the Sudeten German district of Zwittau . In 1950 Bradlné was incorporated, at the same time the Moravian community was assigned to the Bohemian Okres Svitavy . At that time, 603 people lived in the municipality. In 1971 Vilémov and Bradlné lost their status as districts. The school in Bradlné was closed in 1976 and the children were retrained to Moravská Chrastová. In 1980 Rozhraní had 430 inhabitants. Between 1997 the railway line was electrified.
