history

The first written mention of the village Alberndorf , which is subject to the jurisdiction of the city of Jevíčko , was made in 1258. It is assumed that the place is a Slavic foundation.

In 1396 the village belonged to the nobleman Sulík von Radkov. In the same year he sold the place to the Augustinian monastery in Jevíčko. In 1530, Berthold von Leipa renewed the court privilege over his free hooves in Bělá. After the dissolution of the monastery in the course of the Josephine reforms, the village was administered by the religious fund from 1784. In 1789 the Borotín domain bought the village of Bělá together with Skočova Lhota, Malá Roudka and Velká Roudka.

The Malonínký potok formed the border with Velké Opatovice, which included the villages of Malonín and Smolná on the left side of the stream.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bělá became an independent municipality in the Moravská Třebová district in 1850. Since 1961 the village belongs to Okres Svitavy. At the beginning of 1976 it was incorporated into Jevíčko. Since March 1, 1990, Bělá forms a municipality again.
