history
The mountain village was founded in 1720 by the owner of the Biskupice estate , Wilhelm Adalbert Kolowrat von Liebstein. The farm "Na Vysoké" was parceled out and 15 families settled. The new place after Jevíčko was parish, as the parish in Biskupice had been vacant since 1618.
In 1775, Marie Antonia von Blümegen divided the sheep farm belonging to the farm among 15 families. The population of the village, which is surrounded by forests, lived primarily from agriculture, which was not very productive due to the stony soil, so that a sideline was sought through home weaving. In 1785, Wissoka was parried to Kladek , where the school was.
After the abolition of patrimonial Vysoká formed together with Nectava a municipality that had 228 inhabitants in 1854. From 1869 the small village formed a district of Březinky . In 1880 Vysoká became an independent municipality in the Moravská Třebová district. At that time there were still 152 people living in Vysoká. Since then the population has declined sharply, in 1950 the place had 66 inhabitants.
During the German occupation, the purely Czech-settled village belonged to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and was assigned to the political district of Littau from 1941 to 1945 . After the end of the Second World War Vysoká came back to Okres Moravská Třebová and in 1961 after its dissolution became part of Okres Svitavy. Today most of the houses in the village are used as holiday homes.
