history
The place on the border between Bohemia and Moravia was already settled in the Neolithic . From around 1000 BC BC there are traces that show that grain was also grown. Evidence of further settlement during the Bronze and Iron Ages, however, is completely lacking.
In the middle of the 12th century, in the course of the settlement activity of the Premonstratensian monastery Leitomischl, several villages emerged in the vicinity. The monastery was forbidden from further colonization of the border forest by King Vladislav II . After the king's death in 1173, the monastery continued its colonization activities regardless of the current ban and brought German settlers into the country.
Ottokar II. Přemysl promoted the colonization, and during the term of office of the abbot Hermann Herrmann (1245-1260) several places arose. In connection with the establishment of Abtsdorf , which is assumed to be in 1248, other associated localities emerged, including Dětřichov. In the course of the establishment of the diocese of Leitomischl , a separation began in 1344 between the episcopal and the monastic estates.
Theoderici villa was mentioned for the first time in 1347 as the property of the monastery in Leitomischl. The parish has been documented since 1348. A settlement was concluded in 1398 about some of the rights the diocese were entitled to. During the Hussite Wars , the monastery and the diocese went out. Their goods ended up in secular hands. Dittersdorf became part of the Leitomischl rule and belonged to the Kostka von Postupitz family . After the uprising of 1547 the goods of Bohuš Kostka from Postupitz were confiscated.
In 1691 Johann Friedrich Graf von Trauttmansdorff founded the village of Stillfried. Georg von Waldstein had Hohenfeld built in 1777. Until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1848, Dittersdorf remained part of the Litomyšl rule . In 1857 there were 1470 people in the community. In 1930 Dittersdorf with the districts of Hohenfeld and Stillfried had 1104 inhabitants, almost all of whom belonged to the German ethnic group. After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and belonged to the district of Zwittau from 1939 to 1945 . In the post-war period, the German residents were expelled . Dětřichov was repopulated by Czechs from Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia, Volhynia and Romania.
